Q: Where does the name, "Mission + Geneva" come from?
A: My first jewelry studio was in Mission Excelsior, a neighborhood on the southern outskirts of San Francisco. The studio was on corner of Mission Street and Geneva Avenue, and man did I love that studio. It was an abandoned doctors office. There were a lot of broken windows and pigeons, but the light coming in the windows was beautiful.
Q: Where is Mission + Geneva jewelry made?
A : All of our jewelry is made in house at our design studio in Downtown Brooklyn.

Q: What's up with shipping?

A: Yes. An email will arrive when your order ships with your package’s tracking information. (But make sure to check your SPAM account, sometimes they end up there.) Q: Can I expedite my shipping?
A: Yes, but email us first to let us know when you would like your package by so that we can make arrangements.
Q: HELP! I think my package is missing!
A: Occasionally a package can get stuck or accidentally re-routed, resulting in delays that can make it seem like it's gone missing. However, in the past five years of using USPS for all of our shipping needs, a package has NEVER been lost in the mail permanently. Therefore, we like to wait at least eight weeks before declaring a package permanently lost. Thanks for being patient.
In addition, please make sure your shipping address is correct. Orders that are returned because of an invalid address may incur a shipping charge if they are reshipped. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Q: What is 14k gold filled?
A: Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. As a matter of fact, anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is an economical alternative to solid gold!
Q: How do I clean it?
A: Your gold filled jewelry can be cleaned with a polishing cloth, or by swishing in warm soapy water and buffing with a soft, dry cloth. Please note if you get your necklace wet the darkness of the letters may wear off.
Q: I love my necklace so much that I never take it off and now the dark color of the letters is getting lighter!
A : We'll let you in on a little DIY jeweler's secret. You can re-darken your letters by coloring them in with a sharpie, letting it dry, and then wiping your piece off with rubbing alcohol.
